Is there any huge difference between the 128 MB 9800, 9700, and 9600?

What exactly is the huge difference in between those? The price difference seems pretty big, but I wanted to know if the performance is really that different.
 
The 9800 and 9700 probably perform within about 10% of each other. The 9600 is much much slower. I'm assuming a nonpro in the case of all these cards.
 
The 9800 and 9700 both have 8 pixel pipelines and a 256bit memory bus. They're fairly close in performance. The 9600 on the other hand has only 4 pipelines and a 128 bit memory bus. The 9600 is clocked higher, but this doesn't do quite enough to catch up to the others. Overall it's quite a bit slower.
