Is there any "how to" networking setup guide for beginners online?

Happy New Year everyone,

Can someone please point me to into the right direction (articles, online guide etc.) of how to set up a home networking for WINME and WIN2K PROFESSIONAL? I had installed all the hardware (NIC card, HUB etc.) and just need to know how to make the two computers see and share all the drive together. Any help is greatly appreciated.
