Is there any good reason to become MS Office compliant?

Well I spent the day trying this out... I have to say, I'm impressed!

Enterprise integration is about as secure as it gets, using remote Powershell to pass updates between the cloud and Active Directory. Federation Services are used to prevent passing any passwords to Microsoft, and it helped me learn to set up SSO in the process. Documentation is sparse and confusing, but it seems to me secure/reliable enough.

And Office 365 even comes with Lync and Sharepoint. Not sure if I'll use them, but they were hella-easy to set up after the initial Hybrid-Exchange setup.

Sharepoint Server is a pita to setup, but it's quite nice once you have it setup to work on file/projects in large teams. Having snapshots for software version and such.
