OK , guess that we have a ball which you can sit in there and 3 projector (120 degree each), make the screen. Is there any game(PC GAME) would support this resulotion? Is this possible to do this project? last year I diffused the screen in 3 LCDs and ran Grid and stalker, now I want to know if I can do this project for same company...

Thanks BladeVenom, I used Head2go last year for 3 LCDs but I dont think that it would support 360.In stalker and Grid there was 1920x1200 resolution(max).

....Isn't 3d graphics done with planar projection? Which would make FOVs greater then or equal to 180 undoable. Given the fisheye effect, I figured that was the case.

I think almost any game that lets you adjust the FOV can be set to 360. You might want to check the widescreen gaming forum. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/

You won't be able to do it with just an FOV adjustable game, you need one of the sim type ones that support multiple cameras, I don't remember which but I'm sure I've seen 3 or so, possibly iRacing. I've also read you can play EVE with slave clients on separate windows set to different camera views which'd work too.

In X2: The Threat, you could set up dual monitors and set certain cameras to display on the second monitor (I typically used my second monitor to display 4 turret views in a Captial Ship)

Perhaps in X2: The Threat or more recently X3, you could perhaps set up 4 monitors and output front/back/left/right to the appropriate monitor. Not entirely sure this will give you exactly what you are looking for but it's all I can think of off the top of my head.

We have a few X-game fanatics around here who may be able to chip in if they find this thread.

Oh I've also seen it done with i think Quake 3 engine, configuring it to render multiple viewports. There's a youtube video of someone with a 360 projection system playing Quake 3 and they turn themselves instead of turning in game.. looked terrible to actually play that way though.

OK, then I guess you can't in the majority of games.

I just remember the old Unreal games being able to set a really high FOV. I guess though it wasn't quite that high.

Thanks all you guys. As I said , I used TH2Go last year for the same company with 3 LCDs but this year I want to use 3 video projectors which radiate from out side of a sphere.logically it would work in hardwares and I think I wont have any problem with attaching them to this TH2Go and adjusting them in the ball but the main question is if software (better to be a game) would support it !!! Is it possible to have even 270 degree or more?
