don't think so-i think the 2 that didnt have banners both gave up, sent their customers to juno (Motto: after AOL, everyone loves us the most)

You could get free DSL with banners and a hub and you could probably get access on a second comp, there wouldn't be banners there. Though I don't know if you could actually get that 2nd IP...

just setup a linux box to be the primary computer and have it act as the NAT for the rest of the computers on your network. i think that should work, but i'm not certain of it.

Heard that there are two cracks floating around for NetZero that will erase the banner. And I'm not talking about gettin' high.

I know about the Netzero thing...it's so simple to do. Too bad I don't use 56k anymore (I love DSL) :)

None that I am aware of. My advice is stop being cheap and get yourself a DSL service or a cable modem.

yep there is a file which has commands to bring up that banner. if u just delete that section and save u'll have free isp with no banner. forget what file name was. look for it on the net imsure some one has it. but i suggest cable or Xdsl if u can, it's cheap and mine says 28 times faster then 56k modem :)

What's your area? If you live in Western Washington State then there's a solution for ya.

http://www.nocharge.com

The access numbers are listed on the site. Create a dialup networking connection, the username is "GUEST", the password is "PASSWORD"

Creative, huh? Hey, it's free, bannerless, and I've been connected for about 4 days since the last time i've dialed up....

There are no free isps without banners that last long, mainly because ISPs cost money to maintain, and without banners they really don't have much of a chance. The netzero trick that was posted is more complicated than the one I know of, but it should work. I know people who've been doing it for months so I doubt anything will happen.
