Well considering that Windows 3.1, 95 (1st version), and NT don't support USB, I'm pretty sure you're gonna be SOL on getting DOS support 🙂

Norton Ghost 7 boot disk supposedly supports external USB CD Rom drives.
Can't confirm, since I don't have said device.
