Question Is there any coming back from this video card issue?

My computer has been getting worse over time. Now I went to a video on YouTube and it looked like this (see attached). I then went to Facebook and some videos came out like that too. Weirdly, it only happens on some videos, but it happens consistently on those videos. I know I need a new computer but is there any recovering from this? I work in front of a computer (tutoring) and really need access to it without fail. Should I buy a computer NOW (May), or can it wait until August?

Not sure what your computer looks like in terms of specs, but you can attempt to disable hardware acceleration for whatever browser you run youtube in, it will force your CPU to pick up the slack of rendering the video but it may help you squeeze out a little extra time from your PC or provide an immediate fix while you work on getting a replacement.

Are you sure its not a software bug? I would first try using another browser and see if the problem persist. If it does then try updating the GPU drivers. Last resort would be as stated above by @GodisanAtheist disabling hardware acceleration.
