Is there an Object Dock type program launcher for Vista?

Is there anything built into Vista similar to Object Dock or the Mac OS? Some kind of a fixed toolbar to launch commonly used applications?

There is a Vista Sidebar Gadget for that. Just look at the Gadget site for live. I find the Sidebar Run tool awesome to.

TurboLaunch is awesome, but it doesn't currently support Vista. I did e-mail them and they replied saying that all functions do not currently work with Vista. He couldn't say when a compatible version will be made available.

Let me also say that Launchy changed my life... not sure if it works on Vista though.

Aston has a nice dock bar, too bad you can't use it independently. 🙁 You could create nested levels.
Quick lanch panel is a bad adhoc method.
