is there an minimum age to be able to cash in Money orders?

ive never cashed one in before. jsut want to know if i should have the MO written to my name or someone older. Im 19 btw.

Dunno. I'm 13 and usually request MO when selling. I have my mom cash it even though its under my name so I guess you'll be fine.

thats kind of a problem.. im in college and live a couple hours away from them..

I cashed one at 18, I rememeber clearly because it bought my first car.
I still cash them many years later, sort of a pain though.

I did have a bank account at the time, so I cashed it there.
I'm sure there are plenty of check/Mo cashing services around if you lack a bank account though.

Shouldn't be an age limit, as long as you have an ID you should be able to cash it or deposit it into your bank account.

You're over 18 so you're legally an adult. Why wouldn't you be able to do it?

No age limit as long as you have picture ID like a state issued ID or drivers license.
