Is there an iphone camera app that takes photoes every few secs over and over again?

I'm looking to take many photos without having to click anything (phone will be mounted far away) and without having to reset the timer phone everytime. The app would just take a photo every 3-10 secs over and over again. Please help

It sounds like a time lapse video would do the job you're asking for. How long of a period do you need to capture? If it's between 40 and 80 minutes, the built in time lapse feature will save 1 frame every 4 seconds, over 80 minutes will save 1 frame every 8 seconds.

I believe there is rapid fire mode for the camera on the newest iPhones (possibly only the 6+), but that isn't over a long time, just simply 1 per second as long as you hold the button.

I actually googled it. It is called 'Burst Mode' and is available on the 5s (and beyond I suppose). You don't even need to activate it, simply hold down the camera button and it will continue taking photos once per second until you let go.

edit: Just did this on my iPhone 6, and it is way faster than 1 per second. In a second, I took like 12 photos. Probably not what you're looking for.

You also have to hold the button, and OP seems to be wanting a set-it-and-forget-it solution.
