Is there an HD-DVD drive for the computer ?

Are there any HDDVD playback capable drives for the PC ? Or better yet, ones that can also burn cdrs and dvds ?

They make them for laptops, don't know why they wouldn't be available for desktops.

ofcourse there are. just don't expect them to be cheap. link these are blu-ray burners and they read hd-dvd's. i am not aware of any available hd-dvd burners. if you want a drive that will just read hd-dvd's, then get the xbox 360 addon. works perfect on a regular computer.

Those still aren't available, from what I can tell.

The Xbox-360 drive is probably your best bet, you'll need software capable of playback as well, the only one I now of is Power DVD. Thats what I use, and it works ok, but not quite perfected yet, seems to work better in Vista than XP, sometimes I get blank screens in XP, and have to un-install and re-install power DVD to keep it work, in Vista never have that problem.
