unless it's specifically looking for a floppy drive, you can use FakeCD or MS Ram Drive to fake a drive.

Be more specific and you'll get a more specific answer.

err.. well this wont really help you but VMWare lets you make virtual floppy drive out of a floppy image, for use on a virtual guest machine

Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager(In XP it's under the Hardware tab)

You can just goto Floppy Disk Drives, goto the floppy disk properties, and disable it. That's what I did :)

but, is there one tho?

For floppiless systems, w/ the need to create a bootable cd. most programs always want a boot disk to make the image from. yes, you can make somewhere else and just keep backups, but just in case ya know...

I just download a bootdisk image from here (or other places) and use winimage if I need to change the files in the image. Then you choose the image file in yor burning sofftware and you're done.
