is there an easy way to SSH into an iPod Touch via USB?

I keep getting a network error when I use Putty or WinSCP.

Is there an easy way to just do it via USB?

Is your iPod Touch jailborken? If yes then install Openshh through Cydia then use WinSCP. Password will be alpine

I installed openssh and have winscp.

It still wants to know the address and all that. Or am I missing something?

Did you reboot the iPod after installing OpenSSH?

no ... you can't SSH via USB .. only WiFi .. but you can use something like Iphone Explorer or Iphone Browser to get disk access to your ipod.
