Is there an EASY way to get Slackware? FTP site is PITA to navigate (not sure what to look for)

I've been reading responses on here, and many suggest slackware to start off with because it will force one to learn the O/S. The problem is I go to slackware, and to d/l it, it takes me to the FTP, and there's just files and folders galore, even under the 1.7 version. I read the readme.txt in that dir, but I can't quite decipher it. I'm looking for something simple like 'put these files on a disk for a bootdisk', not all the crap they have...any help or suggestions? btw. I searched for Slackware on here and turned up nothing that I was lookin for...

I think their Slackware CD's are bootable. I prefer Debian myself though
