Is there an autoexec.bat kinda file in Redhat Linux? I need to run some scripts everytime my linux computer boots (like an autoexec.bat in dos).. any ideas on how to do this?

Try Operating Systems. I'm not sure *exactly* what Redhat uses for this purpose, but yes, you can do this. You can have scripts or commands executed at various points in the startup sequence with all versions of UNIX/Linux that I'm familiar with, but how to do it varies somewhat.
