the kt266a is currently the fastest chipset for socketA

hehe so if your looking for "super SPEED over kt266a" you will have to wait awhile for the next generation of motherboards

SiS 745 and KT333 are just coming out, those chipsets are what you're talking about, wait and see if they actually work.. i think there are one of each set coming out like this week..

Iwill XP333, but it needs to be overclocked.
SIS 745 & VIA KT333. The ECS SIS745 chipset K7S6A is out, no others yet though. Sources say the KT333 is to be announced officially on Feb. 20.
No great advantages with the 745 and KT333 though.

The Iwill XP333 does not need to be overclocked to use DDR333, it is designed for it. The setting is right in the BIOS. It has AGP/PCI dividers that go all the way to 1/6, so your PCI and AGP busses stay in spec while your CPU and Memory run at 166(333DDR). I have this board and I must say that I am extemely pleased with it. No IDE issues like the KT266a, and I am getting a 227MHz OC from my 1.33AYHJA Tbird. Not too awful bad for $109 shipped, wouldn't you say?
