Is there an App Backup program similar to AppZapper?

Ya know how AppZapper can find the resource files linked with any program, is there anything similar but for backing up apps?

I need to reinstall, but I hate having to re-register / re-activate some of my apps once i drag them back onto the fresh mac.

If I could find a program that would backup the apps themselves along with any resource files tagged along with it, it would save me a decent amount of time.

Do you need to reinstall so as to correct an error caused by an installed app? Or are you reinstalling for some other reason?

If the latter, and you have an external with sufficient space as to contain your entire Mac, then simply use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone your entire OS X partition to said external.

If the former... then I have no idea.

Well, something is screwing up my mac. I suspect its leopard along with my external drive, but to be sure, i want to wipe the drive clean, reinstall, then reinstall the important apps. I want to see on a clean build if the problem still exists.

CCC wouldn't work in my case as I want a clean drive with just the basic apps on there. I just hate having to reinstall/reactivate/re-enter serials again after a reformat.
