Is there an animal simulation game?

A game where you play as an animal, or maybe a guy photographing animals.
What's important is it's a real simulation of the animals, like showing hyenas hunting zebras, nothing anthropomorphic.

That's great, I'll try it. But is there something more advanced than a DOS game? Graphics aren't an issue, but I'd prefer it in 3D.

Far Cry 3? There's animals you can hunt, but it's not the center of gameplay. There is some basic predator-prey behavior, though -- tigers and stuff will chase around smaller animals and eat them, as well as people (and the PC). You also get a camera to take pics with.

Exactly what I was looking for!
But I need a PS3 emulator.

Edit: After looking at some gameplay footage of Afrika I noticed it's not a very accurate simulation, the animals' reactions aren't real and it contains zoological errors. I think that was predictable since it's a console exclusive, and most people wanting to train for a real safari only use computers.
But it's probably the closest thing to a simulation.

It's a hunting game. I'm not sure how realistic it actually is though. Looking on the Steam community forums, there's another game simply called "TheHunter" that seems to be really popular (and is probably more realistic than anything Cabela's has made). http://www.thehunter.com/

There's Primal Carnage, mp only deathmatch where you can play as dinosaurs vs humans.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter / Ice Age, hunt extinct animals and show them in a trophy room. It also has a "photo" mode where you take pictures instead of shooting them. Don't know where you can get it for PC anymore but it's on iOS, PsP/Vita.

The Stomping Ground, not released yet but you can follow and interact(hunt) with what looks like the most realistic dinosaurs I've seen to date, when it comes out.

Oh and Jurassic Park Operation Genisis, 3D theme park of you can guess what, iirc you can take photos from the blimp & car.

I'd buy that. Hunt salmon, maul lost hiker, steal pick-a-nick baskets, harass cottagers at the dump, sneak into the city and cause utter chaos. Plus it's acceptable to wear a hat and tie with no pants on. :thumbsup:
