Is there an alternative to Firefox's builtin spell checker?

Gawd what a steaming pile of dog poop it is and has always been. Am I stuck with it or is there an alternative. I'd gladly pay for a decent one.
 
What's wrong with it? It's just comparing what you write with a dictionary. That should be the way they all work. Maybe try a different dictionary.
