I love my XBox controller and don't want to give it up when I move to the 360. Is there an adapter that will let me use my XBox controller on the 360?

Nope there is not. I have an XBox -> USB adapter and I can confirm that it does not work on the 360. the 360 peripherals have a security chip inside them that authenticates them when plugged into the USB port on the 360.
normal keyboards work for entering certain information because MS hardcoded taht into the system.
but yah, no way you will get an xbox1 controller working on the 360 ... unless you follow my tutorial![]()

Aww, I expected an uber-clever hack...all you did was solder onto the points of a controller that worked. Not that it's obvious to non tehcies though![]()

So...it was still a quality job and a way to get a good fighting game setup for the Xbox 360. Nice job purbeast.
