I have had the same haircut for about ten years. #2 on the sides, finger length on top. I want to grow my hair out longer, but I would like to see some options on what I can get done.

There are many hairstyles you can choose from when you create an avatar in PSN Home, Xbox Live, or Wii.
 
i just do a #2 over the whole head, and stretch some masking tape across my neck to below my ears, and take it down to a 0 below that.

makes for a pretty clean haircut.
 
Your hair's already short...just let grow and if things go poorly, you start over again. When I was still doing the auto show thing, I used to be concerned about my haircuts - now, if something goes wrong, I just shrug and figure that I'll have another chance in 3-4 weeks.
 
Next time you go get a haircut, ask for tips on how to style your hair. Everyone has different hair, so while you may be able to handle one hairstyle, I might not be able to.

+2 MacGuyver points for creative use of masking tape. Though duct tape would've been way manlier.
