tracks positive or negative trends of keywords that you can type in?

for example, google analytics allows you to check how frequently a keyword shows up in the past history, but it doesn't tell you anything about the frequency of a good or bad connotation of the word.

i'm working on a presentation for school documenting american media bias towards various countries like iran & oil, japan & cars, china & labor, etc.

Interesting question. I'd start with urbandictionary or netlingo, places like that.

Google analytics doesn't care about positive or negative connotation - but if they thought there was money in that, they'd start tracking it in an instant.

I think such a tool would also be really useful for predicting the trend of stocks. more negative connotations --> drop in price.
