Is there a way to find someone by their email address,or their ip address ? I am dealing with ID theft and would like to know if there exisits a method or means to do this .
 
email address is hard, but if you have an IP address (and time stamp) you can probably contact the ISP with a legit reason (ie. report from law enforcement or judge).. but then there's also the issue of IP spoofing..
 
Its aol and I have all the info from my credit card company . They took the hit . I feel its a moot issue , but I sure would like to try .
 
You won't be able to get anything yourself. AOL will only give up the info if there is a court order (warrant) requiring them to do so.
