Well, I have a relative coming to stay with me. I recently built myself a computer and I am running Windows XP on it. Well, the relative I have coming thinks that they know EVERYTHING and I don't want them downloading anything of making changes to my computer. My question is, is there a way to sort of lock the system where nothing can be changed or downloaded with that person still being able to use the computer? I want them to be able to surf the web and things like that, I just want to make sure that no changes are made or nothing is downloaded. Well, any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a lot harder to do things if you don't have the proper permissions. A regular user account is a must these days.

Just give them their own user account and give them as limited premissions as possible.
