Yeah, it is called hard drive.
1. Plug it in and connect all the necessary cables (IDE cable + power cable)
2. Does it work? :)

The floppy drive does not connect to an IDE port. The FD Port is a separate controller. The best way I know to test it is to connect a known, good floppy to it and put in a boot floppy and let 'er go.

I know that the FD port is not an IDE port. That is why I asked it as a separate question.

I have only one harddrive and it does not appear to be working in this computer. Since I do not have another HD I am wondering if there is a tool I can use.

Put a CDROM on the IDE channel and see if it works.
