I want to get cable in my room for the summer, but I have no way of running the cables, as I cannot gain access to the attic at this point in time.

I know devices exist for telephone applications in which you plug one device into an outlet, and then another device into another outlet, and it transmits the cable signal across the household wiring.

Do such devices exist for cable tv usage? How well do they work? anyone have experience with any particular models?

Thanks

I am on the second floor.

The problem is that the splitter is in the secoind of our two attics, which i cannot easiy gain access to without pulling apart the shelving in my parents attic. It was really very bad placement of the splitter when we installed it during the renovations a few years back.

eek...for that price i will just go out in the upstairs sitting room and watch TV, and forget about using my DVR for the summer.

check ebay...selling for $100 to $120 .... or provantage has it for $130....then after summer sell it back for $100

of course it might be terrible, check for reviews
