I'm going on vacation for a few days and have a hotmail email account that already has over 90% of it's allotted space for a free account. Is there a way I can transfer EVERY SINGLE email that I receive to another email addy (such as another new hotmail acct) ? I know that if I don't do this I will have an overflowing email box within 24 hours of my vacation. Suggestions? (No suggestions for me to clean up the account...I have too many emails and too little time to sift through and get rid right now).

I'd rather the email I receive to email #1 be put to email #2 and not stay at all in email #1.

setup your hotmail account in outlook express, create a local folder in OE (named "Hotmail" or whatever), then click and drag all the messages from your hotmail account inbox to the local folder you just created

You can use outlook to download hotmail emails.

Explian, I haven't been able to do it.

Create a new profile and associate it with a data file (.pst). Then in the same profile, create a an account using the Internet option and enter your information.

Access your MSN Hotmail account from Microsoft Outlook Express
You can view your Hotmail messages in Outlook Express 6.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Outlook Express, click the Tools menu, and then click Accounts.
Click Add, and then click Mail.
Type your full name, and then click Next.
Type your full Hotmail e-mail address (name@hotmail.com), and then click Next.
In the My incoming mail server is a box, click HTTP.
In the My HTTP service provider is box, click Hotmail, and then click Next.
Type the password for your Hotmail account, and then click Next.
To help protect your privacy, do not select the Remember password check box unless you are the only person with access to the program.

Click Finish.

Email the old emails to yourself at a new account and clear the old one out.

Or give them the $10 a year for more storage.
