Is there a way for me to test the current output of my power source without using any special equipment?

The reason is that i just bought a power source and i suspect that its a bad one.

You cant fully test your PSU without a multimeter. You can start it without hooking it up to any equipment by following part of this article. Take a look at electronic info in the middle. This will not tell you if your voltages are way off or anything though. If you have an old mobo, you could hook the psu up to it and check the voltages in the bios. The best way would be to just pick up a cheap <$10 multimeter from some hardware or electronics store.

Right, definitely try that. It's not difficult at all to check lines with this equipment. Even try calling some auto parts and other tool stores to see if they rent multimeters; most places that do refund your entire deposit ;)
