Is there a way to switch Paypal account from Premier back to Personal?

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I only switched once to receive a credit card payment, and now it's sucking fees from me. I wish it was back to normal, the personal account, where transferring money is free.

Yes, there is. Someone asked the same question a couple weeks ago and had an answer. Try using the search function, as I don't recall off the top of my head how to do it.

When I switched I didn't really have an option, after a certain receiving limit I had to switch. Also, you can't receive CC payments with a personal account.

Ah, you can "Downgrade Account". Turns out you have to dig all the way through their help file to get to "Premier and Business Accounts" in help. You then send them an email requesting the downgrade.

Yes, I know about the CC payment thing. If I really have to, I will upgrade the same day to receive the money, and then downgrade again. :)

I remember asking paypaldamon on the board the same question and i believe he said you can downgrade "once". I had to upgrade myself to recieve a credit card payment over $100 for an ebay auction.

I think the easiest way to downgrade is to email Paypal's customer service and tell them you want to downgrade. They will downgrade your account for you so you don't have to dig around. Yes, it's true. You are allowed only one downgrade for your account so if you choose to upgrade again, you're stuck.
