He always tells my opponent that Im playing the same formation. He tries to talk trash it sounds ridiculous and he makes the most obvious comments like "well, if they want to win, they're going to have to get touchdowns"

Which is precisely why I stopped playing football games after I found out Madden would be the only NFL game till 2010 or something. ESPN NFL 2k5 is still just peachy IMO.

Madden is a legend. Talk badly about him and he will use a telestrator on your face. Then, my friend, you will truly be Maddenized.
 
the thing about John Madden, is that he says the same thing at the beginning of a sentence as he does at the end of the sentence. And when he ends a sentence with "and that's what it's all about," you know you've just heard a great john madden catastrophe.

ex: "We're watching some great football, we have great players playing great football, it just wouldn't be great football if we didn't have great players playing great football because good players don't play great football, they play good football, you can't have good players playing against great players, because that's not great football, you need great players to play great football, and that's what we're watching here... and that's what it's all about!"
