i ship ram all the time. this is how i do it.
take a piece of good corrugated cardboard, a little smaller than a sheet of paper. fold it in half. take the ram (in static bags) and lay them out on one side of the cardboard. tape the ram to the cardboard so it doesn't move around. now fold over the cardboard and tape it shut. you should still be able to ship up to 4 sticks of ram this way and not have to go priority mail. cost will be under $1. have shipped probably over 100 sticks this way, never a complaint even from the picky ATFS/T folks.
