Is there a way to send coax cable/video feed wirelessly?

Hey, I was wondering if there's a way to transmit coax cable wirelessly through a transmitter? I know that there's a way to send audio wirelessly to another room in the house, but I want to be able to send video wirelessly. Please post below if you know of any products that let you do this. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, not sure. Coax cable is cheap though, so you will probably be paying much, much more though.

Co-ax is only two wires, right? It shouldn't be too hard to do some online research and then hit the radioshack and built your own wireless.

Ahh yes, but then they go and say this....

transmits video and/or stereo audio from TVs, VCRs, DVD players, CD players, cable TV boxes, satellite receivers and other A/V components
If that doesn't cover the situation, then perhaps a bit more detail is required.
If one were to take him literally, then the answer is "No, we haven't perfected matter transfer via RF quite yet."

BTW, there was This company that attracted my attention, but it seemed a little overkill.:D

When you say you want to "transmit coax," do you want to transmit a single video channel, or every goddam channel that comes down the pipe from the cable company?

You can indeed transmit a single video signal wirelessly. Come to think of it, television stations have been doing that for decades. There are many consumer products on the market to do that.

If you want to transmit every signal on the coax from the cable company, that's a different story. I doubt this is within the realm of consumer electronics. (But I could be mistaken on that. I'm just not aware of any products that do that.)
