I'm looking at getting a small air compressor myself, but there are issues with moisture.

I don't suppose you have WalMarts over there? In general stores like MicroCenter or Office depot, cans are $8.99+, but WalMart had some for $5 last time I bought some.

I also use my camera's air duster (little rubber bulb with point) to save money on those.

If it's filling with dust then you might have issues your fan setup. You can try to change your fan setup to create a positive pressure zone in the case to help keep dust out. If you have negative pressure then dust will be sucked in from every opening it can find.

Even with a positive pressure system (which I have set-up right now) it's inevitable that dust gets into the system. Now a negative pressure system definitely draws in more, especially through the cracks and seams in the case but any system really should draw in some type of dust unless there's none present in the environment.

That being said you might want to invest in a few fan filters, they're extremely common nowadays and can easily be fitted to most cases without issue as they mount on the opposing side of the fan. You will need to regularly clean these out but they'll block the vast majority of dust and other particles getting into your system, just make sure to clean then regularly or they will severely limit airflow.

Get fan filters, and stop paying $8 a can. I think costco does 3 for 10.

The little electric blowers suck -- at least mine does. I bought one for 20 or 30 bucks and its completely useless. 1/10 the power of a regular can maybe.

Silverstone makes a nice set of magnetically attached fan filters for $9-10 a pop (120mm and 140mm). The cheap way is to tape used dryer sheets to the intakes.
