Hi, i use BT everynight, and i leave it overnight... i know this is harm the harddrive quite alot, but is there a way prevent the disk from dying?

Althought the disk is not dying, if i keep on BT like this, i think i will die in a month.

A month ago, i heard people saying don't defrag the HD too often, becuz it will ware out, but now BT is even intense.

Is BT Bittorrent? Or whatver? And who told you not to defrag to often? Anyhow, in ever case I'd say you were mislead. Your drive will be fine, and it certainly won't "wear out" in a month. Not every server uses SCSI drives. I have IDE drives that are well over 3-4 years that are still in use, and they are used regularly.

yes BT is bittorrent...

hmm... If i use BT to download, it will then read and write for 2 hours non stop... for normal uses, a harddrive will not read and write non stop for 2 hours...
