Is there a way to post RE this hot deal without running afoul of the referral rule?

Hi all and mods,

A few hours ago I posted a thread much like this one to AT, here.

I asked any mods who thought it broke any rules to let me know how to modify it in order to comply with their judgement, but didn't hear back from anyone. My sincere apologies if it seemed I was skirting the rules.

I DID offer my own email for a referral at the end of the long post. I would be happy to remove this, ALONG WITH the suggestion that the thread be used to request/offer referrals, if that would allow the thread to be judged compliant with the rules. We have had several tracfone threads in the past, and I was hoping AT users who don't read FW might have the chance to get in on this before it expires.

Thanks, Dave

Indeed, and that's a very good rule, IMHO. The forums would be clogged with begging otherwise.

Here, there is a rather unusual short-term, bona-fide HOT deal that I wanted to post for that reason, not because of its referral component. (Hence my offer to remove any reference to me.)

If the mods say there's no way to allow even a notice about the deal, I'll certainly respect that. :)
