Is there a way to outline IP nodes on a physical map?

I have been helping a charity install some network cameras and speakers in a building. All of the router, switch and Layer 1 configuration is outlined, as well as the IP addressing scheme. However, I want to be able to see the nodes as they would appear on an actual building plan.

Is there an application out there that can import a JPEG or Autocad plan file, and lay out IP nodes on this? Or do I have to do this myself?

Import the dwg in to Visio -> use the pallets. I am not sure what else you want the app to do, you still have to layout the coordinates for whatever stencil you use.

youre going to have to do the grunt work of laying things out on a map. you can use visio to make the map, you can probably use some network monitoring tools if you want a map/monitor system
