Is there a way to orgnanize files by parts of their name?

To better explain, I've got a bunch of files that have [J], [E], and (among a few other letter) in the file name. Not at the beginning, so I can't sort by name, but usually at the end of the file or near the end.

Is there a way I can sort these files to put all the [J], [E], and so on all together?

I could, but I've got about 3 thousand of those files. Hence why I was looking for a non-manual way to do things. =p

Why can't you just do a search with wildcards and then move the results to different folders? Using an OS with symlinks might make this easier too or with virtual folders...
