Is there a way to make Hotmail the default mail client in Netscape?

It appears that this can be done for IExplorer (there is an option in WinNT and Win98SE's Control Panel>Internet Options>Programs>Email-------- that allows you to choose Hotmail).

Can this be done for Netscape too?

hotmail is not an email client, it is an email service provider
it can be integrated to msie because, well, they're both from microsoft

netscape has an email client integrated in it (ns messenger)
(i think) you can set it up so that messenger would download your emails from hotmail to the client, which you can later read offline -- not so sure on this one, since i don't use hotmail other than for spam collecting purpose...
