Is there a way to make a Glossy monitor more Matte ?

i bought a 1080p monitor, the 32" Samsung 650.

it was supposed to be an upgrade from a 720p monitor.

but - the darn thing is too glossy !!

the only thing i've done is close the window blinds to cut down on reflections.

is there a cover or coating that people use to make their screens less glossy ?

i got an HDMI cable on it, with an HDMI/ DVI adapter, going into the DVI
output on a 7600GT.

it was supposed to be my "new monitor", so i could have a bigger desktop,
up from the 1360 x 768 of the 720p monitor. any help getting it working
better would be appreciated !

alright the guide to glossy monitors.

1.) find a bar, favorite brewery.
2.) drink till your pretty happy and math dosnt make any sense. If math already dosnt make any sense then wait till a hobo talks to you.
3.) leave the bar.
4.) go home and put a movie on the pc.
5.) look at the monitor and watch the movie.
6.) repeat for a week till your eyes are adjusted to these horrible high gloss monitors.

I dont know of any chemical you can put on them. After a few days my eyes adjusted to the high gloss on my right monitor.
