is there a way to make a cd bootable..like a bootable floppy?

i have a laptop and the cd and floppy cant be used at the same time. i need to have a bootable cd so i can install my non bootable winME cd. and help would be great.

try deleting the upper & lower filters in the registry as suggested here!
