Is there a way to just finalize a DVD?

I transferred a VHS to DVD using a set-top box and for some reason my DVD player on my pc won't recognize it. The only thing I can come up with is that I didn't manually finalize it.

Is there a way (or a program) to only finalize the DVD?

I transferred using a Sony DVD/Combo box. I can't remember the model #.

I think DVD Decrypter Does it and something call CDRoller (i think) might do it.

Why can't you just popt it back in the dvd/vcr combo and finalise it there?

I did it at the office which is 1.5 hrs. away.

Okay.

I'm not aware of a way to finalise a disc without the machine it was recorded on. I'm not sure another dvd-/+r can also finalise it either.
