Recently I have been playing video games with air vehicles and I know in real life the y axis is inverted when piloting.

So I wanted to get use to that and browse around on my computer in inverted so it will transfer to gaming.

Please help!

You be better off getting a flight controller. It'll make the game better, and using an inverted mouse sucks.

Anyone out there remember installing Comet Cursor on their machine in the late 1990s? Good times.

"Comet Cursor" was malware lol.

So I DO remember removing it for clients and then having a little talk about being more careful online.

I mean, even a plain joystick is better, I spent a lot of time playing X-Wing and Tie Fighter with a mouse and those dogfights could be a real hassle with a mouse.

Reminds me of the first compuer virus I ever encountered. It inverted the Y axis of your mouse. A floppy-disk boot-sector virus. On an Atari ST, no-less. I think it's still the only virus I've encountered 'in the wild'.

Glad the OP has returned to posting weirdly random questions after their brief unfortunate venture into shady P&N territory.

(I believe they are a form of conceptual art, that leave you free to construct your own scenarios as to why on earth someone would be asking such questions - could probably compile them all, turn them into messages on a dot-matrx display or something and win the Turner Prize with them),

So was Bonzi Buddy, but I know of at least one woman who was home alone during the day that complained when I removed it from her PC during a regular cleaning.

I used to get that sort of thing all the time especially with screen-savers.

Also with cracked versions of "Limewire" and other music-sharing apps that turned your PC into a zombie-bot to be used in DDOS attacks.

It doesn't work for me, when I try to install it it just freezes my mouse.

Most likely a waste of time but serious reply incoming! :p

What brand of mouse are you using? I ask because I'm pretty sure Logitech for example offers this setting in their "Setpoint" utility? YMMV depending on the game you try to use it with though.

Logitech Setpoint utility

Also I'm not posting a link but you can try installing something called "Polynomial Mouse-inverter".... no promises it won't trash your system though!
