Is there a way to install ADS on WinXP box???

I am trying to build a network at home, I do not want to set up just a WORKGROUP but a DOMAIN, and inorder to do that I know I need ADS (Active Directory Services). I don't want to format my machine and put W2K Server on it. So does anyone know of a way to do this in WinXP PRO. Eventually will run wireless networking along side a cable based network.
