Is there a way to independently adjust gamma on 3D and 2D on FW 97.28 (G80)

I wish they would bring back the old control panel!

This is worse than ATi's CCC. (ok that may be stretching it but grrrrr!)

I'm finding when I have my 2D adjusted to my liking the 3D apps are entirely too dark! In the old panel these settings were independent of one another.

Maybe it's your 'video color settings' affecting games. In NVIDIA's infinite wisdom they now adjust VMR (Direct3D I assume) video apps to the same settings as overlay ones. There was a check mark in there to change the behavior back to the old school (overlay/d3d independent) but it looks like they removed it in the last version. It was named "Adjust all types of video applications", or something to that extent.

Never mind, you have to be in 'advanced view' and it's called 'Apply these settings to all video technologies'. Disabling this may remedy your problem.

The default overlay is messed up too! It's like using LOTS of digital vibrance on videos. Reminds me of people that turn the color on their tellies all the way up! Ugh!
