I have it on the fastest setting, but it's much too slow for me.
Any way to make it even faster?

this can probably be done, but i cant think of anything.
i will assume you tried mouse acceleration from the control panel mouse properties.

what video resolution are you running at?

if the mouse is 400dpi, i feel your pain, if its 800dpi, well, you can always use the more expensive mice that can do 1500-2000 dpi

Use a picture of a cat/owl on the surface.

Guaranteed results:D:p

In reality, unless there is a crack for the driver; you may just have to spring for a more expensive rodent.

dunno, i'd like to know too. i remember for certain games people used to just go into the config files and change the number for the mouse sensiti vity.

yeah, you can do that...you just need to find the file and the right setting though.

Get a higher resolution mouse. There is only so far you can accelerate a mouse with software before you have to start skipping over pixels. That would leave it unable to click on portions of the screen.

Oh, I didn't know the DPI also affects mouse sensitivity.

Guess I'm due for a new mouse...

Get a bigger mousepad instead? What do you need such high mouse sensetivity for anyway?

When I play Starcraft, I need the cursor to move across the screen in just a small twitch (which is no problem in 640x480).

But on Windows, I can't get the sensitivity as high due to the 1680x1050 resolution. The transition between Starcraft and Windows throws me off, affecting my performance in SC.

Currently I'm contemplating the Razer Copperhead. If I want it in blue, I'll have to shell $70. Are there any budget 2000 DPI mice out there I can check out?

Edit: Found it in blue for $55.

Can a wireless mouse perform as well as a wired gaming mouse? I was interested in wireless keyboard/mouse a while ago, so I will research this product.

Get a bigger mousepad and recalibrate your arm. It's more accurate that way.

No, and the above point applies doubly to gamers - lots of really good people use super *low* mouse sensitivity and big arm movements.

ive never had an issue with it, keyboard lag tho can get annoying however i dont own a " gaming wireless keyboard" i have a nice BenQ one that i got specificially because it had the least nuber of useless function buttons on it

the mouse is fantastic, only downside is that the bats drain pretty fast it comes with 2, crain in about 6 hours take 8 to fully charge, responce is spot on in CSS, DoD Unreal, HL2....

The idea is more precision, not necessarily speed. So just adjust your windows sensitivity accordingly.
