Is there a way to have more than 4 partitions?

I would like to install new operating systems to try them. I currently have 2 installed, and an extended lba used for storage. If I put another new os, that will be the max number of OSs that I can put on this single drive, right? because, you can't install any os in the extended lba, right?
 
So there is. However, after a bit of searching, you can create an extended partition, and that partition can have multiple logical (non primary / extended) partitions...
