I have a spare XP 1700+ around so I am going to use it for SETI somehow. However, it does not have a network or internet connection so it has no method to get WU's. Is there a way I could download a bunch of WU's, put them on a CD and install them on the computer? And then at the end of the day, taking the finished WU's and putting them on an other computer with internet to be uploaded?

Thank you!

Install SetiDriver in a seperate folder, run it on a machine with internet access. Set Cache size to the desired number of WU.
Let it download all the units, stop setidriver, burn to CD, copy CD to offline folder and run. (If you zip/rar the setidriver folder before burning, your wont have any problems with readonly files)

Yep ,or you can use SETIHide ,it has an import/export option ,that's what I use for my sons PC.

Though I flush & fetch WUs to a USB flash drive instead of floppies/CDRs these days ,much easier:) ,though intially more expensive of course.
