Is there a way to get the Desktop window in .net?

I know how to get the Desktop window handle in Win32, but I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to do it under .net, and frankly I can't find anything.

I haven't looked at Managed DirectX yet, but I have a feeling it's not going to do what I'm looking for either.
