Is there a way to get rid of Macromedia pop up flash advertisements???

I swear they're more annoying than pop-up windows because I can at least kill pop-up windows. Is there a setting to not allow these damn macromedia flash pop-ups or do I have to uninstall macromedia? I will if I have to but don't force me damn it.

I would love to know how! I block ban images from sites in Mozilla, but it doesn't apply to flash. Please, someone help

flash ads tend to blend in with the background so u might accidently click it and makes the page load a lot slower. there needs to be a law against this kind of behavior!
