I glued this junky heatsink onto my video card and now I want to put a better one on. Has anyone accomplished this? Is this the wrong topic for OT? Tell me, where should I post it?
Remember that this is a permanent adhesive. Do not attach components expecting to separate them later.
Just the epoxy under the heatsink.Originally posted by: TheBoyBlunder
Wait, what do you want to do? Remove the heatsink AND the epoxy, or JUST the epoxy?

However, you could try the ol' rubbing alchohol...it MIGHT work. I do have to tell you I take no responsibility if you fry your card while trying to clean it.
